In June 2025, CounterSpike surveyed 3,000 UK adults. It found that 6.6 million Britons (12%) have been spiked, 11.7 million (22%) know someone who has, and 44% worry about being spiked on a night out (The Independent). The findings were also reported by The Mirror and ATV Today.
